How Power BI licensing fits into your bill

Option 1: Per-user (Pro / PPU)

Creators and viewers both have licenses (Pro or PPU). Viewers sign in to powerbi.com. No extra capacity charges — hosting is included in the license.

Who it's for: Best for small–medium teams with under 100 viewers.

Option 2: Fabric F64

Workspace runs on dedicated Fabric capacity. Creators need Pro; viewers can be Free users. You pay a monthly capacity fee (F64).

Who it's for: Best for organizations with many viewers or multiple solutions.

Option 3: Power BI Embedded

Reports are embedded into your own portal/app. Viewers don't need licenses; creators still need Pro. You pay hourly for Azure embedded capacity.

Who it's for: Best for SaaS products and client portals.

Do you resell Microsoft licenses?

No, clients usually buy directly from Microsoft or their reseller. We guide them on the right choice and help with sizing and deployment.

Can we start small and upgrade later?

Yes. Many clients start on Pro/PPU and move to Fabric or Embedded when usage grows. We'll help you plan the transition smoothly.

Are your service fees fixed?

The listed prices are typical retainers. Complex data environments or custom work can be scoped separately with transparent estimates.

Do you support non-Power BI tools?

Mainly Power BI, SQL, Azure and related Microsoft stack, but some flexibility depending on the project and client requirements.
